Trinity Site Trip - Austin Texas to Roswell New Mexico

In which Jim rides his FJR from Austin to Roswell, on his way to visit the famous 'Trinity Site'. Trinity is the location of the first detonation of an atomic bomb.

Located on the White Sands Missile Range, Trinity Site is open to the public only two days year.

The background radiation at Trinity is about 10x normal levels.

@JimNtexas Yeah, always had a fascination for them, even when young... so beautiful yet so deadly. When I was taking some renewal education for my radiation safety officer position, managed to go to the Nevada Atomic Testing Museum. I guess having worked with radiation for 7 years, its just something I'd like to see, much like the sites in Japan.
