@MarkH10 I lived there for a decent amount of time. Im not familiar with any family that lived without electricity (they have frequent brown-outs and black-outs though). Dont over exaggerate, its a simple culture for sure but tThe people are very hospitable, generous, acceptable and fun-loving. Theyre not behind anyone, theyre just different.

I can see my house from the cockpit!! :D hehehe my house was a point of reference when it was very cloudy. might still be. Whoever is talking that blackouts are frequent hasn't been in Terceira for a long time, nowadays we have 10 to 20 blackouts, that's it.

We live in peace, cows, threes, no violence, murders..nothing. It's one of the best places to live..8D

@DonzeJ simple culture?? the culture of terceira is very very complex...much more complex than most of the islands in the world!!! and thats not a opinion is just the way it is!! a fact, love terceira is my island, im not living there for a whille but i keep going there in summer to check my friends and parents, man this island is just the best fiesta island in the world!!!
