Bummer.

They're much more reliable now apparently, I've got a few friends that own Minis and nobody has had any trouble.

My very first car was an original Mini. It was slow and broke down all the time but it was mine.

It's like the old progs on telly. They were rubbish but we loved them anyway.

@AshtonPhoto.....i most certainly have...owned one for a good 6 months....soooo many problems with faulty electrics....strange knocking noises....leak problem pretty much the same as it always was lol...bare in mind this is a 06 plate with 50.000 is on the clock.....now i got me a corsa vxr....and couldnt be happier...had it a year and not 1 problem also it leaves those darn minis in its dust trail...sorry to say it as i used to worship bmw but its true i have been converted....r.i.p....old mini

With all due respect, if you want a 'real' Mini go and buy one and restore it.

There are tons of them still going strong.

You'll enjoy the good old days when unsafe, poorly made, un-aerodynamic, slow, cramped, leaky, dated, old fashioned cars with lots of charm and character were all the rage.

Back in the present... This little baby can get you from Islington to Motherwell in a shade under 5 hours.

Because the Beetle is for homosexual's and women. The Mini can be driven by men. John Cooper Works Mini Cooper S is the best mini of all time. I wan't one.
