Lecture Series on Fundamentals of Operations Research by Prof.G.Srinivasan, Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras. For more details on NPTEL visit http://nptel.iitm.ac.in
sir i am very thankfull to you for all your efforts and hardwork but i faced a problem. at the end of the 2nd lecture there are certain assumptions of liear programming problem and one among them is linearity. what does this linearity means. does it coincides with proportionality assumption or does it mean that all the decision variables and constraints are of degree 1 or anything else. please answer in brief. thankyou
his first two problem I could solve on my own, but for this one I couldnt easily see how to get as few as 10 decision variables. Very interesting stuff. great intro to operations research I have a background in chemical engineering and it was very easy to understand
