Fantastic song - I used it play it at university in 1978. But surely the lyrics don't say 'Shut the door, baby' - it's 'Je t'adore, baby': French for 'I adore you'.

This is the first time I ever heard my name in anysong that seems to be pronounced correctly. However the spelling of my name is Chérie. My new fav song. =D
