I think her acting was nothing out of common. Berenice should have won.

I saw The Help after the Oscars so I expected her performance to be amazing but it wasn't, then I noticed the blonde and she was AMAZING. I asked if the blonde was nominated, and she was. In my opinion, Jessica Chastain was robbed and I need to see her win an Oscar in my life

Certainly, Spencer is the best part of this movie. She is so likable and the film needed her fire (what was allowed). But, the movie sucked. An important social message, in itself, does not make good art. Just look at 1967's well intentioned "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?". That piece is now so embarrassingly dated. I suspect the same will happen for "The Help". Janet McTeer should have won for "Albert Nobbs".
