What job did my family do when they first arrived in Canada over 100 years ago?
Well, they came to the Saskatchewan prairies to farm. When they arrived there was absolutely nothing but field, so they really had to fend for themselves. You can't imagine what they went through.

Question: Whose job did your parent/decendence take when they arrived in Canada? Someone must have been doing their job before they got here unless your family headed stright for the welfare office when their boat docked.
Comment: OUTSOURCING, most telemarketing companies have moved their call centers to Asian countries.
North Americans know how annoying telemarketers are therefore refuse to work there.

the telemarketer probabally came over illegally and took the job away from a hard working Australian. That same thing is happening here in Canada.

no, pre-recorded, it was close to home time that i got the call. I've edited out approx 4 mins of his sales pitch. Shouldnt have to subject you lot to that :)

Thanks cameleon259. As I stated, this was I think the 4th telemarketer to call our station in the same day and by then, I'd had enough.
