I ♥ China Romance 中華民族 中國 Art Culture Music & Real Mongol Motorcycle Tour ^.^ BMW R71

Here are some scenes I've mostly shot after surviving a night of partying blitz with lots and lots of Yanjing and Tibet beer and stuff with friends in the heart of Beijing after the opening ceremonies, but not everyone made it to daybreak ^.^

I mixed some of the video scenes with a very pretty ethnic folk melody from the southern province of Yunnan, and then transitioned to a piano driven modern song by a pop-blues rock singer friend. The weather during that Olympic summer in Beijing was very hot and humid, and hence my friend, who's 1/2 Han & 1/2 Mongol, and I decided to forego extra clothing, and helmets too O.O, so the ride early that morning, just hours after the Olympic opening ceremonies was unexpectedly cold with that chilly wind blast. But oh, the memories ^.^ and so many memories of that extra special time in Beijing. My friend and his motorcycling buddies are part of a number of clubs in China that have embarked on major long distance journeys on 2 and 3 wheels throughout China, including Tibet, Siberia and even distant Europe. I think these guys were friends and soldiers in past lives, and have traveled together in ancient times on their four legged rides way back then ^.^

This early in the AM is actually the best time to ride, as there are hardly any other motorists around, and much less dirt and debris thrown at your face at high speeds.. ouch!! (and no heavy sunlight!) Too rough a ride for most girls, but not for me ^.^ XD
