Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center offers room service dining

Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center is now offering At Your Request Room Service Dining® with our food service partner Sodexo to patients. This means patients can order whatever they want, when they want it as long as the kitchen is open and as long as the requested meal is in line with the physician ordered diet.

Before room service, patients were able to choose their meal, but they had to make the decision almost 24 hours ahead of time. With At Your Request Room Service Dining®, patients are now able to select from an extensive restaurant-style menu and can order anytime between 6:30 am and 8 pm, seven days a week.
Room service operators ensure patient's dietary restrictions and nutritional needs are followed with every order.
Our Lady of the Lake serves between 500 and 600 patients a day. The hospital is expecting to save around $300,000 per year by wasting less food.

Our Lady of the Lake is one of the largest private medical centers in Louisiana, with over 700 licensed beds and a 11-parish service area. In a given year Our Lady of the Lake treats approximately 35,000 patients in the hospital and serves over 350,000 persons through outpatient locations with the assistance of more than 1,000 physicians and 4,000 team members.
