Dynasty Warriors 6 Chaos mode Easy w/ Zhuge Liang (Best weapons+Horse max guide) Gameplay

Complete guide (with annotations) to defeat He Fei Castle Chaos mode Wei side and achieve all targets around 1 and half minutes of game time easily with Zhuge Liang gameplay. As He Fei Castle is a maximum difficulty stage, clearing it in chaos level and achieving all targets will give you 4 highest level weapons if equipped with a 'Find Weapon' horse.

Although a powerful horse and weapon is used here, it can be seen that special attack, Fire can do the real job if you did not finish the boss, Sun Quan, in 1 musou attack which can be done frequently with Zhuge Liang.

Zhuge Liang has 1 of the best musou and special attack in all characters. In addition with 'special start', he can finish the round much faster and easier than Lu Bu.

Horse Training and Maximization:

In order to max out your horse (500 for all stats), it MUST have BOTH descriptions "consider the world" and "heavenly physique". These indicate that it is a horse king and capable of maxing out and gaining special abilities at level 5.

To max out, the horse king's MINIMUM starting stats for speed, jump, destruction and attack must be at least 344,304,124 and 184 respectively with each level rising maximum of 39,49,94 and 79 respectively.

(For how to get horse kings, refer to link below. Retry until you get the correct type, description and stats.)

Train it with maxed out Zhang Liao who has 'horsemanship' and 'special start'. Play Guandu on Easy Mode for Wei's side and go straight from the left to defeat Yuan Shao. For earlier levels, kill around 50 enemies and at later levels around 100 on horse. Kill just enough to fast level up once so you can control the stats and ablities gained.

Each time the horse levels, stats raised will be random. Therefore reload the game until you achieve the desired stats & abilities for each level. (You need to reload a lot. Try to let all stats increase less than 3 points away from max possible.) Elemental attacks will only be granted from level 3 onwards. If your horse do not have ALL stats above 485 at level 5, its special skills such as 'steel hoof' or 'stone spirit' will not appear.

When their special skills are obtained at level 5, their king titles and final pictures will be revealed. E.g. Golden template on Red Hare King).

E.g. If starting stats for attack is 200, minimum stats required to increase per level = (500 - 200)/4 = 75. Therefore the stats for each respective levels for attack must be at least:

Lv1 Lv2 Lv3 Lv4 Lv5
200 275 350 425 500

Type of Skill/ Effect:
Arrow Dance: Repel arrows when horse runs.
Find Weapon: Gain a weapon after victory.
Find Saddle: Gain a horse after victory.
Musou Spirit: Musou guage refills slowly on horse.
Renbu Gait: Renbu guage doesn't decline on horse.

Possible abilities gained on levels:
Level 2: Nothing
Level 3: Find Weapon, Find Saddle, Arrow Dance + Element
Level 4: Musou Spirit, Renbu Gait + Element
Level 5: Special Skill, Find Weapon, Find Saddle, Arrow Dance, Musou Spirit, Renbu Gait + Element

I recommend getting 'Find Weapon' or 'Arrow Dance' and elemental attack (I feel lightning is the best when combined with flash attacks) at level 3. Next get 'Musou Spirit' which can help you kill the boss at level 4. At level 5, get 'Renbu Gait' and the special skill (Depend on type of horse, see below. That is 2 skills for level 5). Total of 4 skills.

Type of horse king/ Colour/ Special Skill/ Effect
1. Auburn King (Light brown): Steel Hoof - Charges through all enemy crowds easily on horse.

2. Dapple King (Dark Brown): Winged Hoof - Damages nearby enemies with shockwave after landing from a high jump on horse .

3. Ebon King (Dark Purple): Jagged Hoof - Increases damage inflcted to enemies when running and hitting them on horse.

4. Grey King (White): Water Spirit - Increases swimming speed on horse.

5. Shadow Runner King (Black): Stone Spirit - Evades most enemy attacks on horse. (You can still be hit or knocked down from horse!)

6. Red Hare King (Red): Wind Spirit - Increases running speed on horse.

You can get Dapple, Ebon and Grey King randomly easier in the game as they are common. However, Auburn, Shadow Runner and Red Hare King are rare and may be obtained from time tricks.

Horse farming:

For others (pc, ps2, xbox 360), it is random. Repeat Easy mode for Guandu Wei side using 2 level 50 characters with Lady Luck (e.g. Liu Bei and Xiao Qiao). Get the horse in the crate (Map - Southwest below the cliff) and go from west to kill Yuan Shao directly to finish the game fast. Using 2 horses with 'Find Saddle' here gives you a total of 3 horses per try. Retry until you get all the 6 horse kings.

I think my ps2 verison is weird. I only managed to find red hare king (name Dun Star) but when i trained it to lvl5 it didn't have all stats maxed. The rest of the horses weren't able to become 'kings' as they all had heavenly physique but not consider the world...

@Draphcone no it is not weird at all, please read my video description. Firstly, they must have BOTH 'heavenly physique' and 'consider the world' to be horse kings. Secondly, you need ALL stats to be above 485 for it to reveal itself as a horse king. You need to RELOAD until you get the stats for each level and not just train blindly because stats increase are RANDOM. Hope this clears your doubts.

@Ih8thePolice Any character who is maxed out can still get his ass kicked easily if playing on chaos mode. You must also have both good weapons and horses. Do not fight the officers using normal attacks but build up your musou and special attacks and use them instead. Refer the the vid and its description on how to obtain necessary stuffs to aid you. Hope this helps :)

@groinful It is not useless. I think leech is great. If you look at the weapon I am using for the demonstration, it also has leech too. The most powerful 5 skills to use in combat is flash, true musou, mystic, air wave and leech. Others are there to act as support or may cause other disadvantages which are explained in the vid.

great video and people if you have at a look at character abilities like liu bei he has the skill to have rare wep and horses to be drop and use lu bu skill to max out the horsses abilities people you need to read what character skills can instead of asking questions like he said its all in the video how to do it.

play as liu bei and on master mode because lui bei has ability to have rare wep horses to be drop i know because this how i get my rare stuff. btw great vid
