  • i want ferets

  • @Fyralynn People have different views on diets for rabbits, but I have never heard before that you should never feed a rabbit lettuce. The only bad lettuce is ICEBERG and that is because it has no nutritional value. Romaine, Butter, Leaf, Endive, Arugula. Spinach & Kale ok as long as not given daily. My rabbit gets romaine daily (it is his favorite) along with other veggies. He is going to be 7 this year and is very healthy.

  • @LeeTheCat All rabbits are extemely prone to digestive problems. If he is receiving a proper diet, it could be from him eating too much of his hair and causing blockages. Be sure to brush your rabbit regularly when they are shedding and remove any loose hair laying around. Your rabbit should always have access to timothy hay and water. Feed pellets & fresh vegetables daily (the amount depends on the weight of your rabbit).

  • @Ilovemodelhorses very very difficult to tell the difference with rabbits. Best to take them to a vet who is rabbit-savvy!

  • @Michelleyboo18 It is possible, I have seen it. In both cases though you should never leave your rabbit alone with a cat/dog because even a pet that has shown no aggression towards your pet rabbit for years can suddenly turn in an instant and kill them. It is just in their nature. Rabbits get along very well with guinea pigs and can form long lasting bonds with other rabbits.

  • @Aquariacherry Not all rabbits like to be held. They are just like humans and have different likes/dislikes. On top of that they take a LONG time to trust/fully bond with their human caretakers. My rabbit only lets me hold him (and only sometimes). Never lets anyone else in my house pick him up though. If your rabbit is actually biting you, you are pushing too much and probably scaring them. Rabbits should never bite unless they are feeling threatened

  • seriously! why cant I have a regular rabbit?!?if u try to pick her up she bites and u will bleed

  • i love my bunny, hes so cute! bunnies make amazing companions its very true:)

  • @Fyralynn See I have three rabbits and i care for all of them the same; hay to eat 24/7, dry food from Oxbow (idk if they're good?), and treats are mostly carrots and apples, I think my problem with him is tht i only excersize them once a month... but yet he's the only one with digestive problems...

  • Does anyone think it'd be possible for a cat, dog, and rabbit to coexist on one property? Not that I'm thinking of doing this anytime soon, if at all, but I'm curious.
