On July 4th after 6 hours of silent prayer and 2 hours of rejoicing, 12 LEOs from the forest service visit camp in Jemez mountains looking for missing girl. They walked through camp peacefully showing the photo of missing Allison and taking photos with their digital cameras of the event. There were no citations given at this time and lots of folks were happy to help with the search.
In an October 2008 report the American Civil Liberties Union stated: The U.S. Forest Service systematically harasses people who attend Rainbow Family gatherings on public lands.

Nice to see mutual respect and/or tolerance between the gathering and the police, it's nice when they actually protect and serve, kudos to everyone at the gathering...

I like the guy in the background screaming "We love you!" I suppose your best mechanism of self defense at a rainbow gathering is a video camera.
