walking a dog the right way

have your dog walking behind or beside you and never tugging. No tension in the leash. The saddlebags help the dog to focus because dogs want to perform a job. The nose collar was flapping around as it was unnecessary because the follow was going so well with the normal collar. The leash was clipped to a belt loop on the back of the pants for hands-free control. [side note: The weight in the saddlebags was off balance.]
