This video was made to premiere in the AMV contests at Anime Expo and Japan Expo International, both over the July 4 weekend of 2010. The main reason I'm uploading it here is to be the first one to upload a non-camcordered copy, to prove that I'm the one who created it.

The song is called "Burger Dance (International Remix)", by DJ Ötzi; it was released in 2003 and went to the top 10 in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The CD-single is sadly out of print, but you can still find copies available for sale on the web if you look.

@dragongirl11kingdomH : It's all good now -- I exchanged e-mails with the person running the AMV showcase, and it looks like it's their custom to fill out the contest with video suggestions from the judges, but always properly vetted and credited to their actual creators. (Since they don't get enough local entries to make a full contest.)

I'm not used to contests being filled like that, but now that she's explained the whole thing, I'm okay with it.

@Aniy31 : Yeah, pretty much. :) But, that didn't stop it from topping the charts in Germany and making the Top 10 in Austria and Switzerland in 2003.

Plus the Pizza Huts all over Code Geass are just as silly.

@Scintilla Local submissions are encouraged at Tsukino, but because it's not a very big con and doesn't get a lot of local submissions, the organisers choose videos they find to also be in the contest as "padding". This video happened to be one of them this year.
