An homage to Carl Sagan's "Pale Blue Dot," this video explores humankind's place in the cosmos.

Originally uploaded in December 2010, this update features a few minor revisions and a new narrator, L. Harvey Gold, who has provided voice-overs for the Discovery Channel, National Geographic, the Biography Channel, IBM, ESPN, Toyota and others. (I was the original narrator, and I replaced the one major thing about the video that I wasn't satisfied with...me. - Seth Andrews)

Yep your right. Can't have a message about secularism, logic and science on screen. Might upset the good little Christian children and make them forget the ridiculous rules of their death cult.

Just a magnificent piece of video. Why cant Hollywood make things like this? Why do we have Honey Boo-Boo and not Sagan and Dawkins on TV? I will die before I see humanity among the stars but damn it I will die helping us get there!

    Excellent!

Like Phil Hellenes at his best.

(Although...that primitive cave art? That's actually rather beautiful and showed the potential within mankind. A glimpse of what a mind is capable of)

The 'somewhere' that everything came from stopped existing 13.7 billion years ago when it blew up. That makes the origin pretty much not worth discussing as far I care. My concern is how to deal with what we have now, not what we had then.
