Various media to prepare us is working but the tech is taking longer, but when it comes, they'll say aliens are here to help us but only if we agree to their noble terms for saving ourselves by which they can eliminate the deniers. Kind of like "V" but without actual aliens.

The "aliens" is just a cover for worship and to mask our own ancient ancestry of advanced humans.
