One year ago Rodger passed away. At the request of his family, his 3 unfinished videos have been edited together and uploaded. This is the final episode that he filmed.

A memorial fund was created in Rodger's honor. Any donations are appreciated. https://shopwmu.wmich.edu/ustores/web/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCTID=718&SI...

The music in this episode was created by Keterol and is available for download here: http://tokyoswan.blogspot.com/2011/01/eternal-swan.html

  • I've been watching swan's vids since the begining. i've watched as this guy changed and grew from a very shy vlogger to a real videographer. he has shown the best side of japan. he made people want to go on trips and especially want to make teachers teach there. his vids were always insightful and inspiring. whoever made this vid did an awesome job! Tokyo Swan, Iwate Swan, Roger Swan.. u will be greatly missed!! u have entertained, influenced and inspired others in your short life!

  • What a wonderful young man. Can't believe it's been 2 years ago that he passed away. Rest in peace, Rodger.

  • Rodger, you seemed like such a sweet, genuine, really fun and intelligent man. I wish I had come across your videos before you were cruelly taken from your loved ones and future opportunities. Thank you for the time and effort you put into sharing your amazing experiences with the world. I've been in the process of making 1000 paper cranes to send to Hiroshima Peace Memorial. I will send them on your behalf, and in your memory. A part of you will always be in Japan. Rest in peace, sweetheart.

  • That ice cream looks like a penis lol.

  • Dang that's crazy I did not know he passed away. It is sad that good people die so young, but I bet he enjoyed every minute of his life.

  • He will be missed.

  • 岩手人は日本一優しいですよ。料理も美味しい。

  • kinda sad seeing one of his last vids
