umm I have been a mac user since 1998, never no security issues on any of my 6 macs. I know for fact companies like norton and Mcafee on the PC side, pay hackers to create viruses and stuff, so people buy there software. Hopefully this wont be much of a problem on the mac platform, but on windows it is, thats one of the many reasons in my opinion why windows sucks :)
