Abe, after his hospital stay, day 3 after CI activation.

After missing a week of CI use owing to Abe's desire to revisit his old stomping ground of Children's, we're on Day 3 of week 1. He has four settings to get used to, and he's already on setting 3! I may try setting 4 tomorrow. Once he gets used to that, he'll be ready for 4 new settings, all the time getting closer and closer to hearing more and more. Oh - watch for the little cyborg flashing light under the cap by his left ear. It shows that the implant is active, and that the coil hasn't come off his head. The thing beeps when the coil is off and the little red light flashes more slowly.
