It is the individualistic nature of Italians that has surged them into the main stream of American life and the reason they don't feel the need to "stick together" like they used to and it's to their credit. It will take at least another generation for the criticizm, negativism to diminish more than it already has although it will never completely vanish. There are Italians who don't like other Italians because they don't like the region they or their ancestors hail from in Italy.
