Bachmann Class 55 Deltic

Here you see 55 001 ST Paddy on a charter train (Modellers license used here as the real 55 001 was one of the 1st of the class of deltics to get scrapped).This loco is the latest addition to my fleet, & long time waited for too.

So here you see it in action on what will be the lower level of this layout when it gets finished. The Deltic loco has had it's pack of super detailed parts fitted, with the exception of the brass etched name plates that also come supplied in the box.

@thethehoosiers The bridge is Hornby's grand suspension bridge, just adapted to fit the layout. Deltic 22 is out this weekend again, on a tour to Scotland :-) Cheers.

@F3ardaymark Longest one of this Hornby i've seen, was around 5 or 6 of them added together. Was at the old Dapol musem before they moved location. Sounds good though with what you've got planned.

@toolalingus This one came with sound as standard. Deltic 22 is running on the 11th of September, as is number 19 & 9. So if you can time it right, get all 3 in one day!!

i really have fallen in love with deltics! i'll be going to buy one for my railway once i finish work today!! did you buy this one with sound or did you have to get it installed?
