  • I want to buy this for my first uke and you probably don't check this...Anyway I wanted to know what type of strings I would need to buy in case they get messed up. Kala Red or Aquila and if either one which type? I'm completely new so please excuse my lack of vocabulary.

  • It is strung with Aquila nylgut strings. They should last at least a year. If you want to experiment woth different strings some choices are Worth, D'Addario Titanium, Hilo black strings.

  • The tuning of the soprano is GCEA from the top to bottom strings 4-1. Kala does making a digital chromatic tuner with a ukulele mode. The model is KC02. thanks

  • Personally I think the KA-S is a better sounding uke. If you want a good starting soprano that is the one I recommend. Thanks!

  • I would get a KA-T which is the tenor version of the KA-S. It has a longer neck and will be easier for a mans hands

  • uhmm, i wanna buy my first uke, and i like this one, im willing to spend 200 and i found this one to be 60. do u think this uke would be a good one to start on?

  • This is a great uke to start on. I highly recommend it.

  • it so cute

  • I'm going to buy an ukelele this christmas, it's my first ukelele and i've been playing guitar for 2 years. I've seen you recommend this one so I'll buy it but... one question, what about the tunning? Are they digital tunners for uke? Thanks and sorry if I made mistakes English isn't my mother lenguage.

  • I'm thinking of buying a ukelele but i have no idea what is best for girl beginner, any recommendations?

  • Excellent demo. Don't understand the comment about playing an instrument that fits your hands and body. Joe Brown made his fortune playing all sorts of ukulele's. Besides, if we all played instruments to match our size and shape then I would hate to come across the guy who played the instrument to the right of the screen! Great demo, mate.

  • lol, good interpretation, it sounds great, congratulations, do you have tabs to play the ukulele ???

  • I think you should play the instrument that fits your hands and body. So perhaps a concert KA-C or Tenor KA-T. thanks

  • Hey mike, I'm thinking about purchasing a KA-S...but do you think i should go bigger..because my hands are big?..or does it matter since i'm starting to learn from scratch...Please write back!!!.. :) PS: By the way...GO YANKEES!!! (I hope you still write me back!! lol)
