2004 was a busy year for hurricanes.What was left of Tropical Storm Bonnie, came thru NC setting off tornadoes.Thankfully the damage in the county was minor.

  • Why does the EAS has to make it all creepy and shit for an emergancy, it gives me nightmares and shit....

  • its almost worthless of the EAS to tell people if no shelter is available, then to lie flat in a ditch. They should just say put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye, cuz if the tornado comes then that is whats going to happen.

  • I remember this well. I just started six grade and middle school a few days before, and it stormed like crazy that day. We had several Tropical Storms and Hurricane leftovers pass though our area in 2004/2005. I don't live in Rockingham county though so I did not see the actual coverage but I watched WXII.

  • @ezndatre The EAS came from the cable company and not the TV station. The cable company was breaking into to the channel.
