Sheikh Jarrah demonstration, June 18, 2010

Weekly demonstration in Sheikh Jarrah, East Jerusalem, 6/18/2010. Halfway through the demo, soldiers tried to stop the demonstrators from walking to one of the homes recently slated for eviction of its Palestinian family. But in an "encircling" maneuver, some of the demonstrators snuck behind the line of soldiers, who eventually gave up and dispersed. Victory music courtesy of a soprano recorder....
