Ducati Monster 696 Termignoni CF Exhaust: Ride by.

A short video so you can get the idea of what the Termignoni mufflers sound like on the 696.

Ducati Performance kit installed. Filter, ECU, Carbon Fiber mufflers. 14 tooth front sprocket

(Monster 696 has a "wet" clutch, not dry.)

***WIND NOISE, didn't seem like a windy day, must have been the camera angle***

  • How much did the 14t sprocket run you? and did you install it? I'm trying to decide between the termi's with the performance kit or the leo vince GP exhaust... any thoughts?

  • 14T Sprocket is around $50. Shop installed it during the 600 mile service. I like the Termi's with the Ducati Performance kit. Keeps the warranty.

  • How do you like the 14t? I just had mine installed today, and I cannot believe the change . . .awesome vid by the way. Make's me want the Termis even more!

  • The 14T sprocket is the way to go. Stock setup with the 15T was horrible trying to go into low speed corners. I had to downshift into 1st gear on tight ones! Dropping the front sprocket just that one tooth makes such a huge difference. Not to mention first gear starts, I don't have to slip the clutch much at all. And 6th gear is no usable on the freeway. :)

  • whats the top speed on this bike? i have looked endlessly and searched hardcore about it and want to know the top speed. im looking at buying it for my next bike. i live in maine, so there is only one dealer in the state to go through, and even they dont have an answer for me. how about you? do you know what the top speed on it is?

  • Sorry, I'm not sure. Check out some Ducati Monster Forums, someone there is sure to know. I think its in the 120mph range. Mine is lower because of the 14T sprocket.

  • Just purchased a white 2011 696 a couple months ago and after reading some forums i purchased a 14t sprocket and having it installed on the 30th. i found the 696 to be luggin in 1st and 2nd when at lower speeds and the start from stop was horrible. Stalling was an issue which was killin my confidence out on the road. I'm also thinkin my idle is way too low. Hoping that with the 14t, this will help out a little and keep me from being a nervous wreck at every red light.

  • @KB1OJU who cares about top speed? anyone can hold open the throttle and keep the bars straight

  • At 1' 10'' you can see one Ufo in the sky!

    Wonderful!

  • mmm bel kit !! :D

my teacher had a 9 sumpthin and wiped out but thease are reasonably priced on ebay!!!

  • Very nice video! Convinced me to buy these Termi's also for my 696 this summer!
