@chrispollock MFW the US is responsible for Pinochet and thus all the people he killed, the overthrowing of democratically elected governments in places such as Nicaragua, the rape of the sovereignty and culture of the Hawaiian people, and of course napalming innocent civilians in tiny villages in Vietnam and Laos.

@chrispollock As long as people have that us vs them mentality, America can start more wars and cause much more controversy than they would of been able to if their wasn't such a "proud to be an American" thing going on.

@chrispollock How can somebody take pride in being in a certain race when they could so easily of been born into a different race. And as for admiring the accomplishments of the group you belong to. I would rather take pride in the earth and everyone one it. All races and all pieces of land. It seems that lots of people, especially in America, have been so brainwashed by the system to be so overtly Nationalistic so that it is easier for the government of the day to control them.

@23lFrench you can have pride in whatever group you belong to and admire the accomplishments of that group. the idea that you cannot have pride unless you have personally done great things is dumb.
