Hi again,
Here I am back with day 26, raring to go! In todays video I discuss my weight loss, and also why you need to drink lots of water, and also details about the alkaline diet (benefits) and why alkaline based foods are good for you.

  • Thanks for going into more detail about acidic vs. alkaline. I was wondering, is green tea acidic? How about wholegrain cereals? And thanks again for explaining about lemons, limes, and grapefruit. I use to think that all citrus fruits were acidic.

  • @transitionalphase Hi, to be honest I am not sure about green tea - I believe caffeine is acidic so I expect green tea would be - Happy to help out :)

  • Fruit only diet. I laughed out loud. Do yourself a favor and read good calories bad calories or protein power. Drop fruits and any other sugars. After about 4 days you will not even feel hungry for 8-12 hrs at a time. You will not need encouragment because the body will be well satisfied. Break the cycle of ignorance. Get off sugar

  • @Warpath2198 Well keep on laughing because I never went on a diet and especially not a fruit one :) Dont agree about dropping fruits but would agree you should limit them because of the sugar. Yes I agree about dropping sugar and I have not had any for 100 days now. Thanks for taking the time to comment...

  • @dab0o thanks for the tip. I find Ginger to be very off putting, but will do some research into it and if it's got some great benefits will try adding again. It was another "celery" for me with the taste, but I have to remain open minded now I have gotten used to celery!

  • I find that ginger,lemon & lime mask the bad cucumber taste and I find using less than a whole cucumber works better.

  • @luvchild78 Thanks for the kind comments and stopping by. Two thinks about celery, spinach, etc. The further you go through your juice fast the "less yucky" they taste. My primary ingredients to mask taste is lemon, lime, and grapefruit. Apple and Carrot are also good at masking in my experience. Good on you for doing your updates each day! Keep up the good work. How long are you planning to stay on your juice fast?
