In response to reachforthelasers - "it's a scam": I guarantee this is not a scam. "See It Right!" - based on Irlen, uses Irlen overlays PLUS colors gleaned from common office supplies like report covers and plastic envelopes. It shoud be noted that See It Right! now uses overlays developed in conjunction with the National Reading Styles Institute, but a 50-cent report cover in the right color will work just fine

Not quite—I have Irlen, but it didn't affect learning to read, just can't do it for >10 min w/o eyestrain. Always loved learning—hated to read. Also, many dyslexics aren't helped by tinted lenses/overlays.
Finally, there are people who have both, but you can't treat the dyslexia without treating the Irlen syndrome. Some professionals consider Irlen more closely related to Autism and Aspergers.
Dyslexia is a symptom, not a "condition."
