the reason they didn't just tackle the guy immediately is all the stage gear. not only does it belong to the band but it's very expensive and not worth knocking over just to tackle some guy, naked or not. it's also custom rigged for that particular venue and probably has enough electricity running through it to power a small town. better to just corner the guy and get him off stage as gently as possible..
stage crashers are nothing new to phish, on the other hand they're usually clothed...

Dude Trey and the band obviously thought it was hilarious enough to change song lyrics to naked guy, laugh and crack jokes all night long. Sure the buys have aged, but they obviously still know how to have a great time. So relax, because while you got pissy, Trey got a nice laugh.

hahaha my friends and i loved naked guy.... it was an epic streaking. he gave them a benny hill pursuit if i ever saw one! he gave us the gift of having a story for years... hehehe.
