Two innovative chamber ensembles combine forces for a program rich in virtuosity, collaborative instincts, and impeccable musical taste. Since 1997, Imani Winds has enriched the traditional wind quintet repertoire with European, American, African, and Latin American traditions. Miami String Quartet is celebrated for its nuanced and energetic playing and imaginative programming. Together, they present Concierto de Cámara by Roberto Sierra, commissioned by Lively Arts.

  • Imani winds is quite possibly the best Wind 5uintet of the late 20th cenury and now 21st century !!!!!!!

    BRAVURA !!!!!!

  • I would like to write a pice for the same group of people only with a double bass added to the ensemble that would act as an anchor between the two groups like they had in Beethoven's septet
