約29名水警警官前日徵用水警輪到蒲台島午膳食海鮮及飲酒，過程被傳媒拍下，遭質疑是公器私用，立法會 議員涂謹申 已要求警隊徹查事件及向立法會提交報告。據悉，負責「帶隊」的水警海港區指揮官高級警司梁文幹，昨早已被警隊高層傳召為事件解畫，警方強調會以嚴肅及公正態度徹查事件真相­。
