Brittanie's poem at Crime Survivors 2008 Awards Banquet

Brittanie wrote and delivered a powerful and heartfelt poem, dedicated to Patricia Wenskunas, founder of Crime Survivors, Inc. Brittanie also spearheaded a major fundraising for Crime Survivors thru Miss Deeds, the community service group she started.

Twice victimized, first by her attacker, and then by a legal system that instead of protecting her, revictimized her, Patricia turned her tragedy into a crusade for victim's advocacy and rights:
