Right... People press skip bagging. No the Self checkouts are POS and cause me to have to work for the grocery store. I tell every store clerk that offers me the use of self checkout. When you start paying me, I'll start using it.

the biggest frustration with cub self check out is the dumb ass cub employees that don't pay attention and then you're standing there for thirty minutes waiting for them to come over and be rude to you when really all you want is their card to clear your fucking item

@sweetypie000 You dont have too use them as there are manned checkouts available! The self serve are there as a alternative option!

You dictaphone idea wont work because the item wouldent come up in your list therefore the operator would notice and you can say hello to security!

Try not pressing skip baging i think the skip baging is only used when you don't place the item on the scale

if i wanted a job as a checkout person i would have applied. The prices they charge we should not have to do this ourselves.

Tip : get a dictaphone and record the 'beep' then play it back when pretending to scan - free items !

put it this way - the areas in london I shop in are always so abundant with immigrants, who are mostly all below the normal education level, that all the self-service tills have the alarms for "remove last item" disabled because it is technology that these bumb assholes really struggle with.

Watching paint dry is quicker than watching some chimp struggling with a bar code reader, putting an item in a bag, checking out and paying.
