http://www.USH2.com/biogas_stove_sale.htm This stove is a partial oxidation gas generator stove. It produces Hydrogen, Carbon Monoxide, Methane and other cracked organic compounds. The same principle is in our books on gasification of wood for engines and cars. Yes, you CAN run a car off this type of system and over 1 million vehicles did this during WWII... it can still work today

  • Read "Lothar Gunther Buchheim" - "Die Festung" . Thats the story about a tour through France in 1944 with a woodgas-vehicle.

  • @northanc I imagine I would have read German in order to read that book wouldn't I.....

  • I think, Germans used this technology to run buses, trucks in WW2!

It was mounted outside on the rear of the bus, truck to produce gas to run the engine.

    It stunk, but worked.

  • @szaki Really...used them in WWII??? I'd of never known that unless I had the largest collection of books showing HOW they did that for sale on my website of USH2 (dot) com - Click on the HYDROGEN link, because the gas does contain alot of hydrogen. I have the books on how the Swedes Did it (vol 9) how the Australians did it (volume 5), How the Americans did it (volume 1) and the best easiest book on how you can do it yourself (Volume 3 & 4 in one book).

  • This stove came out about 4 to 5 years ago and it was the first gasification stove on the market and still is. There was a 'zip' stove which had a fan that forced combustion but was nothing like this. Yes, this fan should last a very long time, the entire stove is made of stainless steel. It doe not come in white anymore, only shiney stainless. Get the stove on the USH2 (dot) com website, see the very top of the page. We have other stoves as well. -Steve

  • there is no smoke. that is a plus.

  • @mojokiss That's one of the whole ideas behind the woodgas stove.

  • Nice one! I just put one on order. Can't wait to try it out!

  • I bought one of these over 10yr ago and the motor did not last long is this any better?

  • @NeoLudditeDave NO...the battery ALWAYS has to be plugged in, but it lasts up to 20 hours on one set, it runs a LONG time on 2 AA batteries. Its not like a normal fire where you really have wait for it to get burning before cooking, this is ready to cook in a minute or less, and when you unplug it, it goes off pretty quickly and the fire burning slows or stops.

  • @heycatmon no...not at all...has NOTHING to do with it in anyway. This is partial oxidation of wood and the production of H2 and CO dominated woodgas, which is then immediately burned. Complete documentation is in the HYDROGEN SECTION of the USH2 (dot) com website.
