  • When you upload a song you expect some people to see and appreciate. Well, I'm a young person and this is not the first time I hear it, but I'd like to thank you for doing it. It's so great and warm from somebody to show such a beautiful song to other people, especially in these bitter times, it makes me keep moving on and remember that all of us are the ones to make it better.

  • @astromavri thank you you are welcome :)

  • Had the vinyl, it takes you back...

  • @officerjohns Yeah this is definitely a piece of vinyl you wont ever forget :)

  • wonderful song full of love..

  • I'm surprised there aren't more comments on this song. I loved this as a kid, and I thought more people knew about it. What a shame--it's a beautiful song, and a different side to Eric Burdon than we usually see.

  • Underrated song

  • heck with the 'I like this' button ... I'm looking for the "I LOVE THIS' button!! First heard this in the summer of 68 when my sister's friend left some 45's at our house by accident, and this was one of them. Needless to say I wore it out ... GREAT song!!

  • This came out when people had a soul.

  • thank you for posting , brings back a summer in Ford City , Penna

  • I first came to this song a few weeks ago when I heard the 1995 version on a compilation CD. After listening to both versions loads of times I decided I preferred this, older, version, it seems more heartfelt and a bit less polished somehow... What a stupendous love song. Just beautiful.

  • Such a beautiful song and an amazing voice. I heard this only recently after going through some old mp3 files....what a treasure to find!

  • Thank you for posting one of my favorite songs from Eric Burdon and The Animals. The drums and strings add so much to the sentiments expressed in the song.
