  • I remember going to the "King of Prussia" mall in Pennsylvania as a young teenager and seeing both Laserdisc and Videodisc for sale at an electronics store there.

    I am a big fan of CED's!

  • Space age technology!!

  • Yes, a long time ago we used to build things, like videodiscs and videodisc players.

  • THIS IS A MESS THE ENVIROMENT DAMAGES THOSE CHEMICALES THE POROCESS THIS IS FUCKING SHIT WHAT WERE PEOPLE THINKING OF BACK THEN

  • @MelancoliaI I saw that too and thought it was rather strange to compromise security like that, so i'm thinking that maybe he just punched in some random numbers and the opened it for the other side. probably not though.

  • I wonder what the guy hosting this video is doing right now. And - 2:44 "Mastering Control" - I'm detecting TRON like undertones in this video.

  • Yes, the quality of videotape, transferred to a bulky and more fragile medium. Enjoy! Don't forget to get a new needle for that player. It's just like living in space!

  • Blame RCA's own internal politics for the demise of CED

  • Thanks for the upload.

  • I think the "best" part is how they describe the production of a vinyl record and say "look at our NEW production facility!" "Look at our NEW technology!"....

    It's sad, really.

  • @BrentAudi
