Wow...that's scary!
-
How do we know how she got injured. They wanted to make room
for someone else ,so anything
could have happened.I would have
taken legal action against them.
-
They wanted to get rid of her ,so how do we know she was not injured by them, the
home.
-
Something just occured to me.How do we know that her mother fell on a moped
floor ? Could her mother have had help
with that injury???????
-
This was SINFUL,but why didn't they
remove her unless govt.control
would not let them.
-
I understand her,but my question is if they are only 5mins away why is the old lady
in the nursing home, unlesss she can't
be left alone and they work or something like that.Maybe it's a situation where
she needs professional help tha tcan't be done at home, but that is a question.I'd take her out of there if I could OR maybe
they can't think about it.Perhaps the
govt won't let them,so I have questions.

The government is a machine of rules that must be obeyed by the cogs. It has no central heart nor brain. Therefore, it is cruel and dangerous to the population. Which is why we are supposed to have a constitution.
The machine justifies all degrees of terror on individuals in the name of the good of the collective. "You mother must be starved to death because there is a long line waiting for this bed."
Shortages is another promise of centralized government operation.
Healthcare has actually improved over the years. Now it is time for our free market to address the target market of individuals who have pre-existing conditions, insufficient or no insurance.
There is a way and Government cannot be allowed to be the end all be all answer and try to act as a competitor in the "industry".

Right now it is about MONEY and money alone; that is something we can at least gain control over individually by opening small companies that can act as a co-opt for a group insurance for people who are not working or have insufficient or no insurance through their work. I have already seen this emerging over the last few years.

We need tort reform. If we start using government healthcare / insurance option as a sole option (which will likely not be a companion to Medicare), if something goes wrong; there will be nothing we can do. It will be oppression like it is on other countries. We will have LESS POWER over our healthcare.

We need to reform certain things i.e.: pre-existing conditions and availability of heathcare and decrease the cost through regulation of the insurance industry as well as fight fraud in medicare and the insurance industry (even patients commit fraud) and what is considered and "exception".

Either way it will cost; it is a shift of burden and expansion of wasteful bureaucracy more people will have to bear affecting the weakest among us.
If it were a case where people all help bear the cost of healthcare that would be one thing, but the bill does not represent that.

last i checked nobody was proposing free healthcare for all. The proposal is a public option that people would pay into just like any private insurer... but the size and nature of the plan would give bargaining power and lower overhead costs allowing for cheaper premiums.
PS Nobody has proposed sacrificing treatment for old people. The fact of the matter is if we dont get healthcare reform... old people may lose treatment simply because healthcare costs are rising too rapidly.

You must not have checked the H.R.3200 bill, it is over 1000 pages. It will cut medicare and expand government into other areas not related the healthcare and diminish quality as a result. Explain lowering of "overhead"; cost cutting should never happen when it comes to our health. The government should not manage healthcare or provide insurance after the failure of Medicare.
