wicked kool, thanks man. i'll be headin over there right away to preorder them both. and i guess its a gd thing their as different as this tho coz then the botcon ones will retain there value. the only problem i have with takara is they like to run round with the chrome gun too much.

Good news - they will be, although each one (Thrust and Dirge) is a store exclusive. They are up for preorder at Big Bad Toy Store. Unfortunately, they will still cost you a pretty penny - but nowhere near as much as the Botcon ones. And although they have rather odd "racing stripes" on their wings, and some liberties were taken with Thrust's design, Henkei Dirge has the correct wings. With Thrust, you can put his VTOL's on his wings in jet mode, or on his leg-mounted tailfins in robot mode.

Unlike Hasbro, Takara is generally good at figuring out what we want and giving it to us. Perhaps it's a different mentality at the top with regard to their corporate heads. So maybe you'll get your wish, you already did with Thundercracker. As for me, I would like a Henkei Thrust, and a Henkei Dirge with the CORRECT WINGS, for once.

i've so wanted thrust and dirge since they came out at botcon but just never got round to it, now i'm kinda hopin they'll be re-released in the henkei line but if not ebays porbably the only chance i'll have to pick them up now. anyways thanks for the review, these 2 are simply awesome :D

I have them standing next to each other and I still like this one (Botcon) better. The paint is nicer and the wings are a lot better.
