@turnoutjim - I just met Malcolm on a ride in Baja. He was a with a few guys in Bahia de los Angeles. He rolled in with a cactus spine the size of a toothpick in his hand, which some of our guys removed and then sutured - the next day he rode away from us on some of the gnarliest singletrack known to man...70 years old and riding like a bat out of hell...I have pics to prove it.

@littlelaven Strange that when they pull back on the shot of the Widowmaker, it looks like a 45 degree angle. you wouldn't think that would be steep enough to cause a problem, but indeed it does! I wonder if a trails bike could crawl up it?

isnt it funny hearing kids complaining about suspension on their modern bikes..
then look at what we had to put up with back in the early 70s... most kids cry in their weeties.
