I wish people would stop outright insulting Apple and Microsoft. Both of them have equally contributed to the development of modern computing as we know it. I'll agree that there have been things about both ecosystems I don't like and both of them have had their share of flops, but what company hasn't? Instead of being a brash fanboy, look at the merits of somebody before you say anything and everything they ever have or will make is garbage.
