Heres a B-Side from the Creep Single by Radiohead from the Pablo Honey album. Great song from them, a rockier version of Radiohead, performed by Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O'Brien and Phil Selway.

Lyrics :

Was always waiting for the crush
The car to drive right through the shops
To call in sick and late at work
And take a holiday

Was always tangled up in knots
To keep myself from speaking up
But no one's listening anyway
Just trying to bribe me

And if it's alright
Then what are we doing here?
And if it's alright
This place is gassed by fear
And if it's alright
I'll tell you cos you never understand
And if it's alright I'll beg you
'Cause I'm a begging kind of man

Today I wrote a bad cheque
Packed a bag and took a jet
And no one's looking anyway
I hope you miss me

(Sometimes I think maybe I'm making a big mistake)

  • every song of radiohead is a diferent story ...its like to be listening to 100 of ur fav bands in only this 5 guys

  • Oh, I agree. The best bands are the ones who can do that. Grow with their sound and try new things, but at the same time, not just to be doing it in an attempt to not fail to come up with new material. Radiohead has always known exactly what they've wanted to do, and the results are always astounding.

  • @003ralf003caster Well I have All-American Rejects' first album. I certainly don't remember anything sounding like Radiohead on that CD. I don't know what they sound like recently though. I enjoy Million Dollar Question because it screams 90's alt-rock.

  • @Superstarseven ok smart boy, the All american Rejects sound like Pablo Honey Radiohead. That better? you get the point. What i meant was they influenced modern bands that sound (to me) very awfull. Good thing they (Radiohead) changed their sound when they did.

  • @003ralf003caster How in the world could they sound like a band that came 15 years after? There has to be a better comparison floating around your head than that one.

  • come a long way...

  • This was badly recorded. They should have recorded it properly, as they did with most of their other B-Sides. Its as if they just jammed it as a band and someone stuck on the record button - just for the fuck of it. Mind you, I'm glad they did.. :-)
