Using the PSP as a N64 Controller.
Project64 is used to emulate "The legend of Zelda".
[ IT'S NOT FAKE!, READ THE REST OF THE DESCRIPTION, PLEASE! ]

Ok, I made this video more than 1 year ago. I was using vista, so it should still work.
First, you need to have a custom firmware, im not going to explain how you get a CF, google it or do whatever you have to do. Then install "wificontroller" in your PSP and "ppjoy" in your PC (reading the comments I realize that you can use a HB program called "Fusa gamepad", i havent tried fusa, but it should be pretty much the same).

Also you need a wifi router, basically the programs connect your PSP and your PC using the router, so you may have to configure it and map some ports or something like that. I can't remember what stuff you have to change in the programs, but im sure there are a lot of tutorials around the web, serch them.
After you connect them succesfully windows detects the PSP as a gampad (I guess you have to install the drivers manually), made that I just configured the Project64 control options (any other N64 emulator should work). And thats all.

Also should work with any emulator (Visual Boy Advance, No$GBA, etc), or anygame, also you can watch my video playing WarCraft III with a PSP.

And pleas stop saying its all fake!

Thanks for watching.

  • mglz06 if you want to know you use a gamecube controller not a nintendo 64 controller

  • @megadinothunder if you want to know i use a 64 controller. i know this game is for GC and not for 64, but what they did is to emulate the game in the GC console and then map the original controls to the GC controller (thats why some buttons seem to be wrong).

And im using a N64 emulator, not a GC emulator, so the PSP its mapped as a 64 controller.

  • where is the Z button on your psp?

  • @evilkiller2007

Mapped @ the L button, can be on any other button, even HOME, bright, sound, etc.

  • why is it not connected to the pc i can't see the usb cable, lets remember the usb port on the psp is on the top, if it where connected we would see the cable coming on top of the psp...hmmmm...u_____u...i say its fake

  • @MrRustytrain, please read the description.

"basically the programs connect your PSP and your PC using the router"
