@xJesusForeverx Greek Mythology: basically he once served his brother Zeus, who was god of all creation. He was sent to the underworld were the souls of the dead rested. during his time in the underworld he had obtained dark magic and ended up tricking his brother into destroying the earth by unleashing the kracken (a giant killer squid) but the son of Zeus then ended up killing the kracken and Kratos was imprisoned in the underworld for all eternity. The End.

He is a playable character in Tales of Symphonia (a main character, even), and he is also in Tales of The World: Radient Mythology on the PSP.

Tales of Vesperia will also be on ps3 if you have one. Later this year sometime though.
When I play in High Quiality, the sound is off time.

Yeah, sorry my recording got a bit screwed up, but it caught up later so I thought it would be alright.

was this boss for any of the other tales games?
The only ones i've played are this and Tales of Destiny.

Well Kratos was a main character that joined the party in Tales of Symphonia and you did eventually get to fight him there. He was probably put in Vesperia as a fan service.
