  • to bad theres no dealers over here in the US

  • @daleyracingteam Dirt Wurx will be importing them next year. Canada also has an impoter.

  • @tobyeo but if i break a part im probubly going to have to drive for hours for a repair or to get the replacement parts

  • @daleyracingteam Order part by mail and take it to alocalshop or you can always fix it yourself once you get the part. what part you planning on breaking?

  • @tobyeo oh a lot of things i race motocross so you crash and break plastics you might blow th motor anything in the motor or transmitions break levers clutch levers you could fall and bend the pipe or muffler i could go on all day you said dirt wurx will be importong them is that in america? and you said i could get them in the mail would i call someone or is there a web site i would order from?

  • @daleyracingteam Yes, Dirt Wurx is in the USA, there is another importer for Canada. I am not sure how the parts would be available but in the worst case if they are not local you would order them online, I guess it doesn't seem as much a big deal for me since I down 4 Maicos from 1980 and I order any part I want pretty easily even transmission gears, connecting rods, whatever (some parts of which would fit the new bikes).

  • @daleyracingteam I would say if you are serious, you should contact Maico International directly on their website or go to MaicoRidersClub website and poston their since they will respond there also. Write up your list of concerns and questions and use one of those two contact forums. I can't speak on their behalf.

  • @demibrigade Yes they are ,been trying to buy one for years and they give you a bunch of bullshit I don't even think they made but one or two bikes Another loser ass british company like DMC

  • Its a one of a kind bike nobody can even buy one so fuck them.havent done anything new since 2010

  • My Uncle, Furman Gray raced factory on a 1978 Maico 490cc in 78-79. Why don't Maico pic up some pro riders in the U.S.??? Would love to see Maico back on the track. I'd get a 450 if they came out and to the U.S.

  • Don't know if I should ask but it says Visit Grandpa? You're related to the original designer of Maico bikes? These new bikes look incredible. What I haven't been able to understand, being the older bikes were SO popular why we haven't heard anything about them in the USA. I live in PA. near a KTM dealer. Those bikes are getting very popular. Going to be some tough competition. Hopefully you will do well and have done alot of work. The Maico name sells itself, hopefully to a new generation.

  • where are they made??

  • @ThouHastEnabled Dude ktm still wining enduro events with chr mo frames I think you'll find its just fashion not nescessity.

  • And people think no one is making 500cc 2 stroke MX bikes anymore....

  • such a trick bike so nice.

  • this litteraly looks like a 1999 yz 250 with a painted red frame and white and red plastic

  • Really sexy bikes, but do anyone really own one of these? ;)
