  • I really enjoyed this song and it was in my head when I was shipped to Vietnam. I would always think back to those days in San Fran when I was in the jungle. It kept me going. Don't enlist folks!

  • Wow--This was one of the first 45 rpm records i ever bought as a 50's teenager, and played it to death. Great to jive to. Just bought it on CD compil, Some how, the rawness has gone--along with my hair.

  • Takes me back !

  • I got this track on a Ventures Gold Cassette in 1983, love to play along to it, it was also on the Shadows first album, I love both groups, different arrangements, instruments and sound!

    Poptabulous!

  • hi Mr. Nomiclas----nice little note----be cool have a beer and continue to rock out. now I must salute you because you are a Ventures fan. back when I was young none of my friends liked them. they thought, no lyrics, no good. tonight I might just freeze a beer or two and crank them up.---have a good 2012----

  • @galaxybeing101 you know,we all were there and some had it tougher than others.YOU WERE STILL THERE!don't worry about what you did,we're all nam bro's and sis's.i was 69-70 with 82nd 5months and then to the 1st Cav for 7 months.82nd was 9 to 5 with the HQ brigade supply.the 1st Cav was right into the jungle and even into Cambodia.i saw pretty much both sides of the deal and i loved being in the Cav.everyday was a challenge and it made the experience one i love to this minute!

  • as I said, you 101st guys were the real fighters in Nam. I was just there for my last nine months of service before getting out. Hat,s off to all of you who did the shooting. I am praising you, not giving you all the jazz. give me a break, calm down and relax!---thanks for your "frontline" service.

  • @SuperSweaterVest Great comment and some very good advice.

  • @galaxybeing101

  • @MrDaiseymay <---Bravo, -well stated my friend, --yet our jewZionist warmongering Rothschild/Rockefeller et'al Bank'ster-mafia masters know that as long as there are naively ignorant young men full of testosterone and eager to exercise it, --that the evil powers that be shall always be inane War, and those whom zealously urge us to fight for the glory of dying or becoming horribly maimed for their insatiable greed & usury; --after all it is necessary for the munitions industry.!!!

  • WOW--SUCH BLATANT CENSORSHIP IN ---FREE ??? AMERICA--( MY ASS )

  • @SuperSweaterVest Yeah don't be an idiot volunteer--your just cannon fodder for making millions of bucks for some desk bound assole.
