SEA OF WHITE BY THE PRIMITIVE QUARTET

jsttoler1 Hello.."Sea of White" Hello.."Sea of White" Hi..My name is Tara Harless-Toler..and I am writing in response to the song.."Sea of White"..My father's name is Timothy D. Harless and he wrote the beautiful words to this song...I just wanted to share with you the vision for which he created this song......
"My husband was in the U.S. Navy coming back from the war in 2003...As we were all awaiting my husbands return...we saw all the little children running around (very excited) ...young wives and mothers,, proud fathers...for excitement filled the air..and we were waiting on the ship's great arrival...when all of a sudden waters that once were calm, started gettting heavy..and the waves started crashing against the shore..and all of a sudden my father asked..."Why are the waters getting so turbulent?"..and this bystander excitedly replied ,"Because the ship's coming in!"....As the ship got closer home ..we could see surrounding the ship..all the sailors (dressed in white) that were coming home from the war in which they fought ...but in a spiritual realm..we could see all of god's angels ..."Robed in a Sea of White"..waiting for us on the other side...oh what a day that will be.."
This is just a piece of the testimony that lead my Father to write "Sea of White".....He also wrote the song "I'm Not Ashamed of the Gospel"...sang by the Primitive Quartet...My Grandfather Oral..wrote the song called "The Flowers We Love"...the Primitives charted this song to #13 in the early 90's..Dad has also written songs for Tony Gore, The McKameys, and the Singing Cookes...
We have a gospel group here in West Virginia called the Harless Family..Many of the songs we sing have been written and sung by my family..We have been very blessed to be able to work in the gospel ministry..and to spread the word of God through the gospel..I would like to extend the invitation for you to hear some more of my father's beautiful songs...Thank you very much
