Hope you found this video helpfull! Also I forgot to mention I used a 26g wire, it's a softer, thinner wire. Both 24g and 26g are good for wire wrapping, the smaller the number, the thicker and stiffer it gets.
Side Note: When you want to add chain, right after you make your loop, before you wrap, add the chain on. Slip it on the wire and slide it into the loop, then place your flat nose pliers over the hoop like in the video but make sure the chain is also under the pliers, this way it will stay out of your way while you're wrapping.

  • Nice video but you never showed us how to attach the two loops to 'each other" or the loop you just made to the chain. Making the "loop and coil" is just half the job. The other thing is you misidentified the one of the pliers. You use a round nose pliers to make the 90degree turn and subsequent loop...not a needle nose. That's a very big difference...especially for new people.

  • You are really a great instructor. I am just learning to wire wrap. Your video was very helpful.

  • If you all use blk for your back ground and lay your work down on the blk and focus we could see it a lot better, put the camera right next to your hand focus, lay your blk on your table, that wud helpl, oh and take your time mover slow!..... thanks
