Those pictures you show first in the video is where hard flash hits his face and capture all the details.
The pictures from the ebony photoshot use something called indirect light, which is soft and reflected off of white canvas. It does an excellent job of concealing details, and on top of that, he has more makeup than usual, and has also been photoshopped before looking like that.
