[hp] Harry/Ginny: "Just a Boy"

Let me tell you what, this video would have been a lot easier to make if the Movie Powers That Be hadn't watered down Ginny's character so much, waited to kick Harry and Ginny's relationship into action until the last minute, and then changed the kissing scene completely. Thanks a lot, Hollywood!

Frankly, the two main canon relationships (R/Hr and H/G) make much more sense and are much sweeter in the books. Still, I love the movies, since the scenes they do have are adorable. I thought this song was fitting for Harry. He's just a Harry--as Dan Radcliffe said in one interview--absolute rubbish with girls.

Personally I liked the kiss, but you're right, they should've had more HG moments during the entire movie series, especially in OotP (they could've just simply had the two of them exchange smiles more often and have Ginny pat him on the arm or back whenever appropriate). But oh well, hopefully in DH we'll get a hot make out session between them. XD

Well, the biggest reason I think Harry and Ginny's relationship seems legit and feasible is from the sheer fact that it was Ginny who was able to reach Harry through all of his fits of anger, frustration, and depression throughout OotP. Otherwise, they're just two kids with a physical attraction.

I'm rooting for that, too......except maybe I'm more excited for Ron and Hermione's! haha
