Hi. This is a Gibson Hummingbird, which isn't really a beginners' guitar. Have a look at a Vintage V300, or a Yamaha FG720s. Those are both affordable, playable acoustic guitars with solid tops. Henry

Good information on song's history. And it sounds like a good effort, but this isn't the strum pattern for the Nirvana cover.

No, this isn't the Nirvana version. That uses power chords and open chords. This one is meant to be more like the Leadbelly version, but for beginners.
